All in One Fence placed a custom fabrication order in May 2012 with Texas Fence, for a customer with roughly 300 linear feet of fencing to be replaced, in addition to tree/brush removal. The design was based on a panel creation by Jamie, commonly referred to as “Grandma’s Panels” – with some modifications to make the panel more cost-effective for All in One’s customer due to the extensive footage, and additional cost of tree/brush removal that would be incurred by the homeowner over the duration of the project.
The 6×8 panels were pre-fabricated using Rustic 1x6x6 Western Red Cedar pickets, side-by-side, on Pressure Treated 2x4x8 Rails, then trimmed with custom-cut 1x3x8 Rustic Western Red Cedar, and capped with a Rough 2x4x8 Cap Board allowing the back of the panel to remain flush with no protruding cap board.
Total fabrication time was two and half days, and All In One Fence was able to pick up the materials, and begin installation the same day.
